The HA-2 is designed to provide 2 meter
transverter support for the HT-37 transmitter and companion
receiver. These units are well built. The final is a 5894
tube (lower left corner) operating in Class "B" linear
operation. The Receiver converter uses low noise nuvistors
(RF amp, small low noise tubes). The unit has a interesting
tuning indicator tube -6FG6. In the bottom chassis view
you can see the DOWKEY relay for antenna change over support.
The amplifier final includes a small fan to keep things
cooled down.
